Both the RNC and the DNC have been evacuated. NBC News reports that at least one IED was found on the Capitol grounds as well. The development coincides with a report that Vice President Pence has unfollowed President Trump on Twitter.

The National Guard is in the process of being deployed to the Capitol. In the meantime, the vice president has also issued his own warning to those inciting violence.
Peaceful protest is the right of every American but this attack on our Capitol will not be tolerated and those involved will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
