On his second day as President of the United States, Joe Biden invoked the Defense Production Act to combat the rising cases of COVID-19. “We’re in a national emergency. It’s time we treat it like one,” Biden said. “This is a wartime undertaking.”

Mandating Masks
In a follow up to Day One’s order that wearing face coverings on federal property is a must, travelers utilizing public transportation are required to mask-up on busses, trains, in airports, and on planes.
